This 324-bed, acute-care and rehabilitation hospital offers a broad spectrum of medical and surgical services, including a 24/7 Emergency Department, the Women's Institute of South Florida, the Women's Imaging Center, the Spine Center, and the ACE Unit which provides specialized care to elderly patients in an acute setting.  We also offer the advantage of a full-range of inpatient and outpatient services, further extending our reach and resources for the people of South Florida.

Since joining Memorial Healthcare System, Memorial Regional Hospital South has been going through an extensive transformation.  Recently, Roche Molecular Diagnostics recognized our Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory as a Center of Excellence.  Opening in the summer of 2009, the Rehabilitation Institute of South Florida will feature a 2,000 square-foot-gym and 40 private patient rooms.  Our rehabilitation services will offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for advanced education, and a strong commitment to our Patient-and Family-Centered Care philosophy.  Team members will deliver excellent patient outcomes and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from playing a key role within the patient care team of physicians and nurses.
