Jackson North Medical Center is a 382-bed acute care center located in North Miami Beach that serves the residents of north Miami-Dade and south Broward counties. The academic medical center is affiliated with the new Florida International University College of Medicine and offers a variety of services, including a 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency care, maternity, orthopedics, surgery, psychiatry and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. It is also home to specialized centers, including the Weight-Loss Surgery Center, Wound Care Center, Center for Mental Health and the Pain & Spine Institute.
Jackson North Medical Center is part of Jackson Health System, the premier healthcare delivery system serving the needs of Miami-Dade County in sunny South Florida. JHS specializes in trauma, burns, newborn special care, rehabilitation, neurological/spinal cord injury, and has one of the busiest transplant centers in the United States.
