Located on the campus of Memorial Regional Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is the only Pediatric Trauma Center in South Broward County. Our Cardiac, Craniofacial, Oncology and Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Programs are designated Centers of Excellence. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, part of the Memorial Healthcare System, is the only children’s hospital in Broward and Palm Beach Counties performing cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery as well as offering a Comprehensive Pediatric Dialysis Program. Our multidisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis Center is affiliated with the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and provides some of the latest treatment protocols. We are one of a few hospitals worldwide to offer extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Our Children's Emergency Department features advanced medical equipment, innovative patient tracking systems and a cheerful, child-friendly environment to put parents and children at ease.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is a Family-Centered Care facility dedicated to the physical and emotional care of children.  Our Child Life Program, which was created to provide vital support to young patients and their famlies, includes assistance by Broward County Public School teachers and a virtual learning lab.  Our Teddy Bear Tours address children's concerns before surgery, and we have special Activity Centers where patients and their famlies can relax and play together.  Our Conine Clubhouse is a "home away from home" for family members to stay comfortably (free of charge) across the street from the hospital.
